About us
I am a Singaporean living in Korea and I am very blessed with a family filled with fun and love – my husband who is Korean, 3 yo Jaimie and 1 yo Jadon. My kids of half Korean heritage are my Korean Babies and my pride. This is how the name of our store came about. My history goes back to 2007 when I first started selling on Yahoo auctions and Ebay.
I was selling random Korean items like chopsticks and traditional Korean baby carriers – the podaegi. Through Ebay I came to know that Korean baby carriers are becoming more widely known all over the world. This is how The Korean Baby blog came about in Jan 2008. I started blogging about different kinds of carriers in Korea and would help purchase if anyone requested. With the support from you and everyone who knows The Korean Baby blog, I am now here with my online store, my very own website. Today, The Korean Baby not only has baby carriers but has everything Korean, for you, your baby and your home.
The concept of our store is to shop on your behalf in Korea so you don’t need to buy them at high imported prices. We do not own inventory for most of the items. We blog about interesting and useful items and will accept your orders if you are interested in purchasing. Therefore we have our unique set of return policy.
If there is something you are looking for but unable to find here at The Korean Baby, please feel free to send us an inquiry at jen.soo@thekoreanbaby.com and expect a reply within 24 hours, except for festive seasons or unexpected circumstances. We will be glad to source anything for you and because we are based in Korea, we are able to get almost anything in a flash, with minimal upcharges.
