Korean culture is very “floor based”. Dining and sleeping has always been on the floor since old days. Even today, babies usually sleep on the floor because during winter, the floor is heated so it is warmer then sleeping in a bed. And also because Koreans believe it is safer for babies to be on the floor compared to beds.

This 5pc mattress and quilt set is suitable from newborn to about 5 years old. It consists of a “yo” (mattress in Korean), 1 quilted blanket, 1 thin summer mattress, 1 thin summer blanket and 1 pillow. The mattress measures approx. 100cm x 120cm. There are many designs available so please inquire and we will show you updated ones.

We only recommend and sell high quality cotton filled “yo” even though polyester ones are lighter and cheaper because polyester filling will sink in over time. Cotton fillings are more expensive and provide better support for the back. Their natural softness and fluffyness is maintained even over time.
